Museum Visit
A few days ago we went to the Rotorua museum kids art area. We learnt about a traditional type of maori gardening. We did activites that maori people did back then such as fertilizing soil, making holes in dirt so it would be ready, weeding, and making smoke. It was so fun.
Food For Thought
Day 1. Food Pyramid
I contributed to the discussion by raising my hand and saying LeSnak were everyday biscuits except for the cheese. I learnt something that I never knew before which was I didn't know what a vegan didn't eat and I thought vegan was for the for short of vegetarian. Now I know vegans are different from vegetarians and they don't eat things that come from animals.
Making ANZAC Biscuits
Today I made ANZAC biscuits with my friends and my class. We used Flour, Rolled Oats, Boiling Water, Golden Syrup, and some other ingredients. It was a very messy but fun activity. We even had a competition of which group made the best biscuits! Here's how me and my friends' finished ANZAC biscuits looked.

Cicada Drawing
A cicada is an insect. It’s a type of bug that has clingy/sticky legs that can stick/cling on you sometimes. It has a gold tone with a rosey touch on it. It’s like rosegold but crispier and browner. It has hairy fur all over. Mostly on the abdomen and the legs. It’s eyes are dark red with a brown touch. The cicada was very creepy but cute at the same time. Here’s a picture of a cicada I drew:
