Universal Studios Harry Potter Attraction

Since Universal Studios was for the whole day, I'm going to write one blog post for each ride. The first ride we went on was the harry potter forbidden journey ride. This ride was awesome, the seats were sideways, it was a 3D ride with some real stuff showing up every now and then, as we were walking, there were pictures with people inside, talking people. Just like the people in the real Harry Potter movies. Once we got on the ride, the seats were doing all sorts of things, tipping us upside-down, vibrating, as the 3D first person screen was going on. It looked like Harry and Ron were so close but in reality there was only a 3D screen that the people saw. So then Heromine used a levitation spell to levitate us and then we went super fast, and all I could see was the 3D screen, I couldn't see any of the behind the scenes stuff, it's what I always look for, so that's what I really liked. I also liked how I couldn't see any of the rails for this ride. There was this big dragon that I saw, it hit us with it's tail! (Referring to me and my dad) And then all the students in Hogwarts were clapping at the end, it was a very very fun ride, I couldn't stop talking about it. If you are wondering why I'm not posting any pictures here, it's because I am going to make a whole blog post after posting all my universal studio posts, the whole blog post will be dedicated to all the photos taken in Universal Studios. If you are also wondering why Snow Day hasn't been uploaded yet is because I'm doing this first and then I'll be doing Snow Day. But for now, bye bye! See you in the next Universal Studios blog post I make!

Madame Tussauds

Yes, we went to Madame Tussauds the same day I wrote about Grand Canyon. So, Madame Tussauds is a wax museum located in many different cities. Hollywood, Las Vegas, Nashville, New York, Orlando, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. The one we went to was in Hollywood, the first zone we entered in was the VIP Lounge. We saw celebrities such as Simon Cowell, Rihanna, Ryan Reynolds, Demi Lovato, and some others.

Then we went to the next zone, called Spirit Of Hollywood. This zone had a lot of actresses and actors, the only thing was that I didn't know the names of them.
After that, we entered the western zone. This zone had props that we could use, cowgirl hats and cowboy hats too. Again I didn't know the names of the actors inside, so I will show you another booklet picture of that zone and a picture of me along with the booklet picture.

After the western zone, we entered the crime zone. Again, yes I know I'm missing out on so much.. I didn't know that much people, but I saw some really cool props in there, such as black fedoras, and signs that said things like "Hi Mom" "Best Brother" "I Did It" "I'm Innocent" and of course, a black and white height chart.
The next zone we entered, had modern classics inside. I saw a few familiar faces in there,William Shatner from Star Trek, and I think Detective Axel Foley was in there as well.

Next zone was movie making, I just realized I didn't know that many people in Madame Tussauds.. But I still enjoyed! Since I didn't know the people inside because I miss out on a lot and my attention is mainly focused on a boy band called BTS, I don't know that many actresses and actors. But continuing on.

We also saw Lady Gaga as we walked along.
Next zone, Exclusive Sports. We saw famous sport players such as Tiger Woods, David Beckham, and Kobe Bryant. I think my dad liked that zone the best, but I'm not sure. Now, the picture of me along with the booklet part.

Next zone was Action Heroes. I'm gonna get to the main attention here, Jackie Chan. Jackie Chan was in that section! And of course, we took a picture with him. There were also other action heroes, such as Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Katniss Everdeen from the hungergames, etc.

The last zone we entered was the 4d superheroes, we saw people such as Spiderman, Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, etc. And to finish it off, we watched a short 4d version of the polar express. It was 10 minutes, and the experience was great. The chairs were vibrating, rocks came out of the chairs hitting our legs, all sorts of scents came out, it was so great. The only thing I didn't like is that we got wet. And that was my first time wearing the long sleeved shirt I got from Children's Place. But that's alright, the only thing that mattered is that we had fun. :) That's the end of my sight-seeing  journey to Madame Tussauds! Today, we're going to the Snow Day with my cousin so I'll be uploading that tomorrow!

And as always, here are 21 pictures of me in Madame Tussauds. :)

Grand Canyon

3. Grand Canyon

A few days ago, me and my family went to the grand canyon, it was a four hour drive from Las Vegas, to Arizona, where the Grand Canyon awaits. After the four hour drive we had to walk up a path until we saw the breathtaking view. The grand canyon had very light colours, kinda like pastel-ish ones, and with the amazing sunset in the background as well, it looks amazing. We took a bunch of photos and  walked around, and we also saw many tourists that were from many different countries that also came to take photos. Some were daredevils who stood on the very edge, and some were being careful around the edges. Some brought very cute dogs, and others were in groups of two. I found out that the Grand Canyon was carved by the Colorado River, so that's a nice fact for you. Back to reality, after we were done taking pictures in Grand Canyon, we went back to the parking lot in a bus that ran on natural gas. We saw elks along the way, and the people waiting at the bus stop thought that the driver wouldn't come back for them, so when the bus came back everyone at the bus stop started cheering, and we got safely back to the parking lot, and all the way back to Los Angeles, it was night time when we left.. I'm pretty sure it was an 8 hour drive back to Los Angeles, so that's pretty long. But the bright side is, at least we got home safely, and that we were back in LA again. So I flopped down on the bed, and fell asleep after a few minutes. Here's a picture I took in the Grand Canyon!
I told you the colours were pastel-ish. :) Bye bye now, because we're going to Madame Tussauds very soon, not sure if we are going to Madame Tussauds today, but I will post about Madame Tussauds the day after we go there! :)

Las Vegas

2. Las Vegas

First we were in Salinas to celebrate thanksgiving with my Grandpa Frank and Grandma Gigi and my other cousins, we spent the whole night there, my dad and my two uncles went to visit my other cousin, (How much cousins do I have?) then headed for  Las Vegas, the part you are about to read right now is when I was actually in Las Vegas. Las Vegas, famous for street lights and casino. Some top attractions at Las Vegas which I didn't go to,  are the Stratosphere, a casual hotel that offers dining, drinking, a casino, and thrill rides over 100 stories above the strip. Bellagio, a luxury casino resort with outdoor pools, dining, plus some live shows.
The last attraction, is The Mirage, a modern casino hotel with a dolphin habitat, plus some multiple eateries. We only spent a little bit of time in Las Vegas, the trip was 8 hours including eat and rests,on arrival to Las Vegas which was 5pm we had dinner and then we went to Las Vegas Premium Outlet where we saw many shops, such as Calvin Klein, Kate Spade, Tommy Hilfiger, etc. It had lots of people since it was Black Friday, even some shops had lines because other people were waiting to get in the shops. So we stayed in a hotel for overnight and slept because we were so tired from the trip.

Then we woke up early to go to the Grand Canyon, that trip will be posted tomorrow! For now, here are some pictures that my mother took in Las Vegas. Sadly we couldn't take many, so here's seven for now. The last one, my mom downloaded from the internet. Thank you for reading!
